Production Saw and Machine is a family-owned manufacturing partner providing production saw cutting, CNC machining, and turning services under one roof. Since 1975, we have helped OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers simplify supply chains, shorten lead times, and improve part quality.
We operate a 157,000-square-foot ISO 9001:2015 certified facility in Clarklake, Michigan. Each year, we ship more than 16 million cut and machined parts to customers in automotive, agriculture, defense, heavy equipment, industrial, and recreational vehicle markets.
Our Story
Production Saw and Machine was founded in 1975 by Jim Vancalbergh in Jackson, Michigan. The mission was clear: deliver high-quality machined parts on time and support the region’s growing manufacturing needs. The company began as a small sawing shop and grew into a fully integrated manufacturing operation with high-volume machining, low-volume machining, turning, and cut-to-length sawing.
The company remains family-owned and led by the second and third generations. Jeff Vancalbergh serves as President, and his brother Greg is Executive Vice President. Jeff’s sons now hold leadership roles across operations, working alongside cousins, uncles, and long-time team members. Each generation learned hands-on from the one before it.
Over time, the company added automation, improved systems, and expanded equipment capacity. This combination of experience, technology, and continuous improvement strengthened PSM and positioned it to support modern production demands. The third generation continues that momentum with a focus on data, efficiency, and customer needs.
